What I'd like to produce 02://

Promotional Material

Lux* Hiver - Printempts communication material
by France based Helmo
A piece of work and a design studio that I've mentioned before during my 1st year, but can't resist but mention them again this year as my thoughts haven't changed about their work as I still love it! The blend of typography, detailed vector graphics all merged together by a neat layout makes these visually interesting and functional at the same time. The design has been applied to a range of print based materials from booklets to promotional posters; an area that I haven't really had many chances to explore myself but remain as one of the top things that I'd like to work on.

What I'd like to produce 01://

Type & Editorial
Looking at initial design work that I am interested in, in terms of both the type of design work and the subject matters. A selection of work & design solutions that demonstrate the type of work that inspires me and the standard that I'd aim to produce from now till the end of the 3rd year.

One of the areas that I've really come to appreciate alot more this year has definitely been on editorial design. Not only does this example demonstrate a well considered design direction that combines type and image, I also really like the very specific subject matter that it recognises. Something that I aim to work on would be a given subject matter that would be very specific, something that allows me to research on and promote/inform with the design solution.

Not in any relevance to my design practice, but still, this got me rather excited so thought i'd share it here.
